சிறப்பு வெளியீடு வழிகாட்டுதல்கள்

வால்ஷ் மருத்துவ ஊடகம் லைஃப் சயின்ஸ் இதழ்களின் வரம்பிற்குள் வரும் சிறப்பு இதழ்களை உருவாக்குவதற்கு வாழ்க்கை அறிவியலில் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட அனைத்து நிபுணர்களிடமிருந்தும் முன்மொழிவுகள் அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன. வால்ஷ் மருத்துவ ஊடகத்தின் சிறப்பு இதழ்கள் உயிரியல் செயல்முறைகள் பற்றிய நமது புரிதலை மேம்படுத்தும் ஆராய்ச்சியின் தனித்துவமான அம்சங்களில் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். இந்த சிறப்பு இதழ்களின் நோக்கம், வால்ஷ் மருத்துவ ஊடகம் இதழ்களின் நோக்கத்தை விரிவுபடுத்துவது, வாழ்க்கை அறிவியலின் அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளிலிருந்தும் உயர்நிலை ஆராய்ச்சி தலைப்புகளுக்குக் குறிப்பிட்ட கட்டுரைகளை வெளியிடுவதை ஊக்குவிப்பதாகும்.

முன்மொழிவு தயாரிப்பு

சிறப்பு இதழ்கள் மாதந்தோறும் வெளியிடப்படும் மற்றும் அதற்கேற்ப முன்மொழிவுகள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும். அனைத்து முன்மொழிவுகளிலும் பின்வரும் தகவல்கள் இருக்க வேண்டும்:

• முன்மொழியப்பட்ட சிறப்பு இதழின் தலைப்பு
• நோக்கம் மற்றும் தற்போதைய பொருத்தம்
• உள்ளடக்கப்பட வேண்டிய தலைப்புகளின் பட்டியல்
• சாத்தியமான பங்களிப்பாளர்களின் பட்டியல்
• விருந்தினர் ஆசிரியர்(கள்) மற்றும் விமர்சகர்கள்
• விருந்தினர் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் மதிப்பாய்வாளர்களின் முகவரி, தொலைபேசி, மின்னஞ்சல் மற்றும் தொலைநகல்
• சமர்ப்பிப்பு மற்றும் மறுஆய்வு செயல்முறைக்கான தற்காலிக காலக்கெடு (சமர்ப்பித்தல், மதிப்பாய்வு மற்றும் இறுதி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளலுக்கான காலக்கெடு)

அனைத்து முன்மொழிவுகளும் ஆன்லைன் சமர்ப்பிப்பு முறைக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் அல்லது publicer@walshmedicalmedia.com இல் உள்ள ஆசிரியர் அலுவலகத்திற்கு மின்னஞ்சல் இணைப்பாக அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.  

EB உறுப்பினர்களின் பங்கு

• சம்பந்தப்பட்ட துறையில் தற்போதைய ஆராய்ச்சிக்கு பொருத்தமான சிறப்பு வெளியீடு முன்மொழிவுகளை மதிப்பாய்வு செய்யவும்.
• Recommend suitable proposals and their guest editors along with their biographies.

Once a proposal has been accepted by the EB members for creating a special issue, the corresponding guest editors will be responsible for handling and processing of the special issue articles.

Role of Guest Editor(s)

• State the importance of the proposed special issue theme and explain how the special issue articles will contribute towards advancing the scope of the journal.
• Suggest potential authors and invite them for contributing relevant articles for the proposed special issue.
• Suggest a minimum of 3-5 reviewers for the manuscripts submitted towards the special issue.
• Carry out all communications with potential authors and reviewers concerning author guidelines for manuscript preparation and reviewing.
• Prepare a timeline and schedule for the release of special issue articles. This should include a timeline for manuscript preparation, review process, and final submission.
• Oversee the submission of final edited versions of the contributing articles along with the contact information of all corresponding authors.
• Include a short editorial for the topic of interest written either by the guest editor or by any of the contributors.

Submission Process

• Special issue articles can include both original unpublished research articles and review articles related to the specific theme.
• Manuscripts will be accepted for publishing in the special issue only after getting approved by the peer review committee [selected by the guest editor(s)].
• All the articles in special issues should strictly adhere to journal style and formatting.
• Each special issue can be created with 10-15 articles.
• All accepted manuscripts can be submitted online via Online Submission System. Submission should be accompanied by a cover letter with reference to the concerned special issue theme.
• Accepted manuscripts submitted before the deadline will be published within the given timeframe for the respective journal publication.

Note: Authors are sole responsible for any scientific misconduct including plagiarism in their research articles; publisher is not responsible for any scientific misconduct happened in any published research article. As a publisher we will follow strictly scientific guidelines and EIC’s advice to retract or erratum of any article at any time if scientific misconduct or errors happened in any articles.
